Job summary

Three Across in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Sr. Lead / Engineer II to support offshore installation of subsea structures and associated systems. The role interfaces with clients, suppliers, offshore crew and design teams to deliver quality on schedule.

Requirements include a Bachelor's/Master's in Offshore/Civil/Marine Engineering and 3+ years in offshore oil and gas, with strong English communication and project coordination skills. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, subsea preferred.
• Practical experience in preparation, coordination and execution phases of projects.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Produce all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects developed by the Group.
• Take responsibility for the installation of one or more product(s) on a major project.
• Perform the engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of the products.
• Plan, prepare and confirm specific procedures and related calculations defining priorities.
• Bring technical expertise during procurement and confirm project progress at interim meetings.
• Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases on vessel while ensuring HSEQ compliance.
• Support the development of computational tools.

Job Purpose

The Engineer will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, flexible flowlines and/or umbilicals, riser systems, mooring systems, etc. The Engineer prepares the mission and then supports the offshore crew during the operation. The Engineer also ensures the interface with the Client, the suppliers, the offshore crew and the design team. Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• You produce all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects developed by the Group;
• You take responsibility for the installation of one or more product(s) on a major Project;
• You perform the engineering activities related to the preparation and Offshore installation of the products;
• You plan, prepare and confirm the specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation)
  and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities;

Cost & Time;

• You bring technical expertise during the procurement process, and confirm the project's progress at interim meetings with your Lead;
• You participate to vessel/CB mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ;
• You warrant that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality;

• You support the development of computational tools;

You Are Meant For This Job If

• A Bachelor s/Master s in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable;
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, preferably subsea or an equivalent;
• Practical experience/understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phase of projects in general;
• Good command of English, both verbal and writing
• Strong technical basis in engineering and coaching skills
• Project management skills, Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
