Job summary

3across is seeking an Engineer II to lead offshore installation tasks, including subsea structures, flexible flowlines and moorings. The role supports mission preparation and offshore execution, interfacing with clients, suppliers, crew, and design teams.

The incumbent will provide engineering solutions under SSE standards, ensuring quality, budget, and timely delivery while contributing to tool development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas, preferably subsea.
• Strong understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phases of projects.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Project management skills, good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects.
• Take responsibility for installation of one or more product(s) on a major project.
• Perform engineering activities related to preparation and offshore installation of the products.
• Plan, prepare and confirm procedures and associated calculation notes defining priorities.
• Provide technical expertise during procurement and report progress at interim meetings.
• Participate in vessel/CB mobilization and installation phases on vessel to validate solutions.
• Ensure activities comply with project standards in terms of quality, cost and time.
• Support the development of computational tools.

Job Description – Engineer II Job Purpose

The Engineer will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, flexible flowlines and/or umbilicals, riser systems, mooring systems, etc. The Engineer prepares the mission and then supports the offshore crew during the operation. The Engineer also ensures the interface with the Client, the suppliers, the offshore crew and the design team.

Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• You produce all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects developed by the Group;
• You take responsibility for the installation of one or more product(s) on a major Project;
• You perform the engineering activities related to the preparation and Offshore installation of the products;
• You plan, prepare and confirm the specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities;
• You bring technical expertise during the procurement process, and confirm the project's progress at interim meetings with your Lead;
• You participate to vessel/CB mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ;
• You warrant that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost & Time;
• You support the development of computational tools;

You are meant for this job if:

• A Bachelor’s/Master’s in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable;
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, preferably subsea or an equivalent;
• Practical experience/understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phase of projects in general;
• Good command of English, both verbal and writing;
• Strong technical basis in engineering and coaching skills;
• Project management skills, Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
