Job summary

TechnipFMC seeks an Offshore Engineer to lead installation preparation and offshore crew support on subsea projects. You will prepare tender docs and project deliverables, coordinating with clients, suppliers, offshore teams and design teams to ensure quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Bachelors/Masters in Offshore, Civil, or Marine Engineering, 3+ years in offshore oil & gas, and strong English communication and project execution skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable.
• 3+ years of experience in offshore oil & gas, preferably subsea or equivalent.
• Experience in preparation, coordination, and execution phases of projects in general.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Strong technical engineering foundation and coaching skills.
• Project management, good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• You produce all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects developed by the Group.
• You take responsibility for the installation of one or more product(s) on a major Project.
• You perform the engineering activities related to the preparation and Offshore installation of the products.
• You plan, prepare and confirm the specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities.
• You bring technical expertise during the procurement process, and confirm the project's progress at interim meetings with your Lead.
• You participate to vessel/CB mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ;
• You warrant that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost Time;
• You support the development of computational tools.

Job description

Job Purpose

The Engineer will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, flexible flowlines and/or umbilicals, riser systems, mooring systems, etc. The Engineer prepares the mission and then supports the offshore crew during the operation. The Engineer also ensures the interface with the Client, the suppliers, the offshore crew and the design team. Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

You are meant for this job if:

• A Bachelors/Masters in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable;
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Offshore Oil Gas Industry, preferably subsea or an equivalent;
• Practical experience/understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phase of projects in general;
• Good command of English, both verbal and writing
• Strong technical basis in engineering and coaching skills
• Project management skills, Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
