Job summary

Durus Consulting is seeking a Senior Lead Designer Exterior Trims with strong automotive design experience to lead end-to-end development of bumpers, claddings, side moldings, roof rails, ORVM, quarter glass and related exterior components.

You will lead exterior trim design from concept to production, develop master sections, concept and detail designs, and manage 23 complete exterior trim projects while coordinating with styling, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Experience in automotive exterior trim design from concept to production.
Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and 3DEXPERIENCE PLM tools.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA.

Lead exterior trim design from concept to production.
Develop Master Sections, Concept & Detail Designs.
Handle multiple automotive exterior trim projects.
Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
Work with 3DEXPERIENCE/PLM tools.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing, safety, quality, cost and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor design teams and coordinate with Styling, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers.

We are looking for a Senior Lead Designer Exterior Trims with strong automotive design experience to lead end-to-end development of Bumpers, Claddings, Side Moldings, Roof Rails, ORVM, Quarter Glass and related exterior components.

Key Responsibilities

Lead exterior trim design from concept to production.
Develop Master Sections, Concept & Detail Designs.
Handle 23 complete automotive exterior trim projects.
Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
Work with 3DEXPERIENCE/PLM tools.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, 3-2-1 principle, Gap & Flush.
Prepare/review DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFS and validation documents.
Knowledge of plastics, composites, injection molding, compression molding and thermoforming.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing, safety, quality, cost and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor design teams and coordinate with Styling, Manufacturing, Quality and Suppliers.
