Job summary

Worldpay India Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Java Developer for the Launchpad-UI team to shape the future of global commerce. You will write code, test, and collaborate with product managers to define system requirements and drive API development.

You will mentor juniors, design secure RESTful services, and contribute to a scalable microservices architecture with CI/CD. Core hours are flexible to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience writing Java applications and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Spring framework and microservices.
• Experience with RESTful services and OAuth2 security.
• Solid debugging, testing and quality assurance skills.

Responsibilities

• Writes code, performs testing and debugging of Java applications.
• Defines system requirements with product managers and users.
• Guides juniors on technical difficulties and interview process as needed.
• Designs APIs and implements microservices with CI/CD pipelines.

What you’ll own

Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially. Ideal candidate will be able to start coding, unit testing API development with understanding of requirements. The candidate is expected to guide juniors in the team on technical difficulties, solve business problems, take interviews of junior position
