Worldpay is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Launchpad-UI team in Pune. You will write code, implement APIs, and collaborate with product managers to define requirements, while mentoring juniors and adapting to project needs.

Qualifications

• Writes code, completes programming and testing using current languages and technologies.
• Interacts with product managers/users to define system requirements.
• Writes technical specifications from business requirements.
• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products.
• Ability to start coding, unit testing API development with understanding of requirements.
• Guides juniors on technical difficulties and participates in interviews.
• Core business hours with flexibility as projects demand.

Responsibilities

What you'll own

• Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
• Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.
• Ideal candidate will be able to start coding, unit testing API development with understanding of requirements.
• The candidate is expected to guide juniors in the team on technical difficulties, solve business problems, take interviews of junior position
• Core business hours: as per company policy but need flexibility as may be required by the project.
