Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the TITANS team to shape the future of global commerce.

The role focuses on high-quality Java development, robust test coverage, and building independent capabilities within tight timelines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in JAVA 8+/17+/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern cloud tooling, with optional experience in AngularJS/ReactJS or Kotlin.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java (8+/17/21) with hands-on coding experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and test coverage.
• Knowledge of SAFe,Cloud tech, Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD.
• Familiarity with frontend tech like AngularJS/ReactJS or Kotlin is a plus.

• Write high-quality code for new features with proper testing.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintainable codebase.
• Develop independent capabilities within given time frames.
• Collaborate in a 100% developer role with Java expertise.

What You’ll Own

The hired candidate will ensure following

• high quality code development for new features
• ensure proper test coverage
• A ideal candidate will have responsibility of developing of independent capability within software in a specified time frame following industry wide best practices with an objective to learn on the job and adhere to new principles and practices as it evolves.
• This is a 100% developer position where the candidate is expected to be proficient and has a good hands-on on JAVA, with good working / hands-on with JAVA8+
• There will be normal business hours allowing some overlap with UK business hours.

What You’ll Bring
