Job summary

You will design scalable backend services, work across product, UX, and QA, and ensure production-grade code that serves thousands of users. This role demands strong technical leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Development.
• Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality backend API components.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Broad experience in building interfaces between cloud solutions (Azure/AWS), API management and development.

What you will work on:

• Lead a talented engineering team & build/enhancethe API platform for agriculture insurance.
• Build new and exciting components in an ever-growingand evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency.
• Develop high-quality, production-ready code that canbe used by thousands of users of our platform.
• Make design decisions on the basis of performance,scalability, and future expansion.
• Provide technical leadership to other mobile and webdevelopment engineers. Help level up the team; share knowledge,conduct code, and design review; drive code quality and processimprovement initiatives.
• Write clean and well-abstracted code that you areproud of, with extensibility and performance in mind.
• Work in cross functional teams with productmanagers, UX designers and QA engineers to ship qualitysoftware on-time.
• Collaborate with product management, leadership,research, and other teams to create the technical vision, androad map for the team.
• Contribute to all phases of SDLC including design,implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing of the features.
• Build efficient microservice components on cloud environment.
• Code review, mentoring junior engineers, andproviding technical guidance to the team.

What we look for:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Development.
• Proven track record of building and shippinghigh-quality backend API components .
• Deep knowledge in selecting, configuring, andintegrating 3rd party SaaS or COTS solutions as well ascoordinating the development of such solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience and experience withrelational and non-relational databases e.g. (Postgres/Oracle/Mongo).
• Broad experience in building interfaces between(cloud) solutions (Azure/AWS), API management and development.
• Detailed real-world experience with Scrum or similaragile methodologies
• Experience with the Azure platform is a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills and emotional intelligence
