Job summary

Finonyx in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage hardware, software, networks and security. The role requires strong Windows OS, backup, and support expertise, with a focus on incident response and service quality.

You will handle desktop/server administration, user access, and integration of collaboration tools, while coordinating with vendors to ensure uptime and compliance with IT policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Management: Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, servers, and other IT peripherals.
• Operating Systems: Installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting of Windows and other operating systems.
• Networking: Basic network administration, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, VPN, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Backup and Recovery: Perform regular data backups, monitor backup jobs, manage data recovery procedures, and support disaster recovery activities.
• Software Management: Installation, configuration, licensing, updates, and troubleshooting of business applications and software.
• IT Support and Troubleshooting: Provide L1/L2 technical support for hardware, software, operating system, printer, email, and network-related issues.
• User and Access Management: Create and manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access rights in accordance with IT policies.
