Role Overview
We are looking for a hands‑on IT Administrator & Support Engineer to manage end‑user IT operations, infrastructure support, access control, and basic security hygiene. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to support employees across multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day IT operations, secure access management, and timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot OS‑level issues (Windows, macOS, Linux basics)
- Support common business applications (email, browsers, VPNs, collaboration tools)
- Handle IT onboarding and offboarding for employees
- Maintain asset inventory (laptops, accessories, licenses)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and role‑based access across tools and systems
- Administer email systems, file‑sharing tools, and collaboration platforms
- Handle password resets, MFA setup, and access audits
- Ensure proper segregation of access based on role and team
- Basic troubleshooting of LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network and hardware issues
- Monitor system health and report potential risks proactively
- Enforce basic IT security practices (device encryption, antivirus, patching)
- Assist in endpoint security management and vulnerability remediation
- Support audits by providing access logs, asset data, and configurations
- Educate users on security best practices (phishing, data handling)
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors
- Track renewals for licenses, domains, SSLs, and subscriptions
- Ensure cost‑effective procurement and usage
- Maintain IT SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding checklists
- Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements
- Support scaling of IT operations as the organization grows
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows & macOS administration
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Familiarity with endpoint management and security tools
- Experience supporting SaaS tools and internal applications
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging mindset
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical users
- Ability to prioritize issues and manage multiple requests
- Ownership‑driven and proactive approach
