Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and presentation tools.

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer at DesignHex will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development and space planning to final execution and handover. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves meeting with clients to understand their needs, developing design proposals, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee FF&E selections, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and conduct site visits to monitor quality and progress. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining design standards, and contributing to the creative direction and innovation of the studio’s projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with a proven ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure buildable designs while leading a team.
• Expertise in FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and sourcing aligned with project concepts and budgets.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience in residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to minute details, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work on-site Pan India with design teams, clients, and contractors.
