Job summary

Homeitup is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential design projects from concept through completion. You will develop design concepts, produce layouts and drawings, and coordinate FF&E while supervising on-site execution to ensure high design integrity.

Collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and junior designers, you’ll manage timelines and budgets, leveraging your expertise in detailing, materials, and codes to deliver client-focused spaces in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, visually compelling residential environments.
• Strong understanding of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings for documentation and coordination with contractors.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, specification and procurement for residential projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar software and presentation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture with several years of residential experience.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor junior designers, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, knowledge of materials/finishes, and familiarity with local building codes.
• Portfolio showcasing completed residential projects with creative problem-solving and client-focused design.

The Senior Interior Designer will lead residential design projects from concept through completion, ensuring that each space reflects the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic preferences. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts and detailed drawings, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and supervising on-site execution to ensure design integrity and quality. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and junior designers, managing project timelines and budgets, and maintaining alignment with Homeitup’s design standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at client sites and the studio.
