Role Description

Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept to completion, including developing design concepts, preparing presentations, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee space planning, detailed drawings, and FF&E selection, ensuring design intent is maintained through all stages of execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing construction drawings, conducting site visits, resolving design and coordination issues, and guiding junior team members. The role requires balancing creative vision with practical constraints, monitoring project timelines, and contributing to the studio’s design standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and architecture skills, with experience leading full-cycle design projects.
• Proficiency in space planning and layout development for residential and commercial interiors.
• Ability to prepare and review detailed construction drawings and documentation.
• Expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Demonstrated experience in client management, design presentations, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior designers.
• Experience with on-site execution, quality control, and familiarity with local codes and materials in India.
