Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations and needs assessment.
• Develop design proposals and space plans, and prepare design presentations.
• Coordinate construction drawings and select materials, finishes, and FF&E.
• Oversee site execution to maintain design intent, manage timelines and budgets.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold studio standards; contribute to process improvements.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for leading interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, needs assessment, and development of design proposals. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparation of design presentations, coordination of construction drawings, and selection of materials, finishes, and FF&E. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers, overseeing site execution to ensure design intent is maintained, and managing project timelines and budgets. The Senior Interior Designer is expected to mentor junior team members, uphold studio design standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetically coherent layouts for residential and commercial projects.
• Applied knowledge of architecture and construction drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure accurate execution on site.
• Experience in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment, with an understanding of materials, finishes, and ergonomics.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with presentation tools.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a portfolio demonstrating executed projects and design leadership.
