Job summary

Planniique Architecture in Coimbatore is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead design and development of interior projects from concept through completion in an on-site role.

The ideal candidate will develop space plans, select materials and finishes, coordinate FF&E, review construction drawings, mentor junior designers, and liaise with architects, consultants, and vendors to ensure design intent is delivered.

Qualifications

• Develop interior design concepts and space plans from concept to completion.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design and development of interior projects from concept through completion in an on-site role based in Coimbatore. This full-time position involves creating design concepts, developing space plans, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E to align with project goals and user needs. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, collaborate with architects, consultants, and vendors, and ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, managing project timelines, and participating in client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection and coordination.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and user-centered design.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and understanding of building systems.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is beneficial.
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
• Relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with experience in interior projects.
• Experience in leading projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams is an advantage.
