• Strong skills in space planning and interior design to create functional, efficient interiors.
• Solid knowledge of architecture and interior architecture to integrate structural concepts with interiors.
• Experience in interior fit-out, coordinating execution, materials and finishes on completed spaces.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, D5, V-Ray).
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills for client and team reviews.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on-site with cross-functional teams and tight timelines.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices is advantageous.

Role Description The Interior Project Architect will be responsible for designing and planning interior spaces that align with project requirements, brand identity, and functional needs. Day-to-day tasks include developing concept designs, preparing layouts and detailed drawings, coordinating interior fit-out plans, and working closely with project managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed on-site. The role involves conducting site visits, assessing space utilization, selecting materials and finishes, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. The Interior Architect will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into final deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, efficient, and visually appealing interiors.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Architecture and Interior Architecture to integrate structural considerations with interior concepts.
• Candidates should possess experience in Interior Fit-out, including coordinating execution, materials, and finishes for completed spaces.
• Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Endscape, Vray, D5,lumion or similar tools).
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work on-site with cross-functional teams, and adhere to timelines and quality standards.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
