Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chennai. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand requirements, develop design concepts, and prepare mood boards, layouts, and 3D visualizations. Daily tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, preparing and reviewing construction and interior drawings, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. The role involves close coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are executed accurately, on time, and within budget. The Interior Designer will also conduct site visits, track progress, and make necessary design adjustments to meet quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design, Space Planning, and creating functional layouts.


• Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and ability to interpret and integrate architectural details.


• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings for interior projects.


• Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.


• Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office.


• Excellent visual, creative, and technical design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.


• Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and justify design concepts.


• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant work experience in interior projects is preferred.
