Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Trivandrum. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed drawings for commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, coordinating FF&E selections, preparing construction drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role involves meeting clients, understanding project requirements, presenting design proposals, and refining solutions based on feedback and functional needs. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, quality checks, and documentation to maintain project timelines and design standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate concepts into precise, buildable documentation.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is beneficial.
• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong visual communication, presentation, and client interaction skills are important.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is required.
