Job summary

Avantika Interior Systems (P) Ltd is seeking an Interior Designer for a full-time hybrid role based in Trivandrum. You will develop design concepts, prepare layouts and boards, and collaborate with project teams to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically aligned spaces.

You will handle space planning, FF&E selection, vendor/contractor coordination, and contribute to construction drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to create cohesive design concepts.
• Space Planning skills to optimize layouts for functionality, circulation, and user experience.
• Construction Drawings skills to develop detailed plans, sections, and specifications for project execution.
• FF&E skills to select and coordinate furniture, finishes, fixtures, and materials that align with project standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of building codes and materials.
• Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-handling skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in commercial or residential interior projects will be considered an advantage.

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time in a hybrid arrangement based in Trivandrum.
