Job summary

Philips is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of healthcare software solutions. You will collaborate with customers, project teams, software developers, DBAs, and service teams to resolve complex issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, and IIS, while expanding expertise in PowerShell automation and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Microsoft environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server.
• Advanced troubleshooting and automation using PowerShell and T-SQL with networking and Windows security knowledge.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications in Windows Server, Azure/Entra ID, SQL Server or PowerShell are highly regarded.
• Experience with healthcare software environments, HL7, ADT messaging, Rhapsody, ServiceNow/Salesforce and ITIL practices.

Your role: Play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance and ongoing support of healthcare software solutions, enabling customers to deliver essential clinical and operational services. Work closely with customers, project teams, software developers, database administrators, implementation consultants and service teams to resolve complex technical issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, IIS, networking and healthcare integration platforms. Develop deep expertise in healthcare applications, infrastructure technologies and integration solutions while expanding skills in PowerShell automation, cloud and identity services, security, SQL technologies and enterprise application support.

Suitable for you if:

• Strong experience supporting complex Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server and enterprise application infrastructure.
• Advanced troubleshooting and automation skills using PowerShell and T-SQL, with solid knowledge of networking, PKI/certificates, .NET runtimes and Windows security.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications in Windows Server, Azure/Entra ID, SQL Server or PowerShell are highly regarded.
• Experience supporting healthcare software environments is highly desirable, particularly HL7, ADT messaging, Rhapsody integration engines, ServiceNow/Salesforce ticketing systems, and ITIL-based service management practices.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
