Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare item-wise quantity calculations for highway and structures based on approved designs, drawings and technical specifications.
- Develop and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for highway, pavement, earthwork, drainage and structural works.
- Carry out rate analysis for various project items, including material, labour, equipment and applicable transportation/carriage components.
- Prepare carriage/lead cost analysis for construction materials and incorporate the same into project cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates based on quantities, applicable rates, specifications and project requirements.
- Support/prepare Highway Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), including quantities, estimates, BOQ and relevant technical documentation.
- Prepare technical schedules, tender/bid documents and supporting cost/quantity statements.
- Review highway and structural drawings to identify quantities, scope of work, variations and cost implications.
- Prepare and compile technical and project reports required for highway consultancy assignments.
- Coordinate with design, engineering and project teams to resolve discrepancies between drawings, quantities, BOQ and estimates.
- Ensure estimates and BOQs are aligned with applicable MoRTH/IRC specifications, SOR and project/client requirements.
- Assist in reviewing variations/change of scope and their impact on project quantities and cost.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to estimation, BOQ, rate analysis and DPR deliverables.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Education
- B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with relevant Highway/Transportation Engineering exposure will be preferred.
Experience
- Ideally 512 years of relevant experience in Highway / Road / Infrastructure Consultancy.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Highway DPR preparation, estimation and quantity surveying.
- Candidates from NHAI, MoRTH, Bharatmala, NH, Expressway and major highway projects will be preferred.

Preferred candidates should have worked on one or more of:
- National Highways
- Expressways
- Greenfield/Brownfield Highway Projects
- NHAI projects
- Bharatmala Pariyojana
- HAM / EPC / DBFOT projects
- Highway structures, bridges, culverts, drainage and pavement works
