Job summary

Apto Global Employment Private Limited is seeking a civil engineer to identify and evaluate highway investment opportunities and perform detailed technical due diligence including site visits and asset inspections. You will assess pavements, structures, and safety, and contribute to concession compliance.

You will prepare lifecycle CAPEX and O&M plans, support financial models, and coordinate with lenders and consultants during transactions and monitoring. Willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 5+ years of highway sector experience (EPC/HAM/TOT/O&M/Asset Management).
• Prior experience in technical due diligence, consulting, or asset management preferred.
• Strong understanding of MoRTH/IRC standards and NHAI concession agreements.
• Exposure to InvITs, PPP projects will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pavements, structures, drainage, and highway systems.
• Understanding of lifecycle costing, maintenance planning, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Ability to connect technical findings with financial and commercial impact.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and basic project planning tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate highway investment opportunities (HAM, TOT, EPC, M&A).
• Conduct detailed technical due diligence including site visits and asset inspections.
• Assess pavement conditions, structural integrity, road safety, and concession compliance.
• Prepare lifecycle CAPEX and O&M plans for asset sustainability.
• Provide technical inputs for financial models including maintenance cycles and cost assumptions.
• Support transaction execution including bid submissions and advisor coordination.
• Engage with lenders, LIEs, consultants, and concessionaires during transaction and monitoring phases.
• Track SPV performance using KPIs such as IRI, safety compliance, and uptime.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports for asset management.

• Support transaction execution including bid preparation, technical submissions, and coordination with advisors

• Track and monitor SPV performance including KPIs such as IRI, safety compliance, and uptime

Experience & Qualifications
