Job summary

NOCT invites a designer with 3–4 years experience to shape brand identities. You’ll craft cohesive visuals across brand, packaging, and layouts, keeping the consumer at heart.

You’ll collaborate with our Panchgani studio and remote teammates to deliver pixel-perfect designs on time, while exploring new concepts and refining your craft through research and feedback.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a designer.
• Portfolio demonstrating work in Brand & Identity Design, Layouts & Composition, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or related field (academic qualifications secondary).
• Working knowledge of design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Indesign.
• Creating appealing and pixel perfect visual designs with a clear idea of the brand’s ethos and brief, while always keeping consumers at front and centre.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and in-house/remote teams to ensure timely deliverables.

Responsibilities

The job requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as a designer.
• Proven ability to strategize brand concepts, including positioning and messaging, to create cohesive and impactful brand identities.
• A portfolio demonstrating work in Brand & Identity Design, Layouts & Composition, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field of study. (academic qualifications are secondary, we judge applications solely on the basis of design portfolios).
• Working knowledge of design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Indesign.
• Creating appealing and pixel perfect visual designs with a clear idea of the brand’s ethos and brief, while always keeping consumers at front and centre.
• Immersing yourself into the process of developing visual designs through research, conceptualisation, iterations and explorations. We value curious minds who are willing to explore in order to advance their abilities.
• Striking the right balance between NOCT’s interests, the client’s expectations and consumer experience.
• Ensuring timely completion of deliverables

• Coordinating with NOCT’s in-house team at the Panchgani studio as well as any other remote team members.
• Collaborating with team members and actively participating in discussions and brainstorming sessions.

If you’re through the first round, we’ll set up a video interview with you. You will be required to share your screen and walk us through some of your work.

In case we feel that we need a better understanding of your design skills after the interview, we’ll ask you to complete a short design exercise.
