Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery.
• Experience in SAP ECC Production Planning and Materials Management modules.
• Strong knowledge of PP master data, Demand Management, MRP, and production planning & execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP PP/ MM solution design and oversee delivery.
• Collaborate with business users to resolve day-to-day support issues.
• Define functional requirements and create configuration rationales and specs.
• Validate development estimates and ensure delivery meets business needs.
• Coordinate end-to-end integration between PP and MES and other modules.

• Production Planning & Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Must understand Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), demand management, production execution, capacity planning, and shop floor processes.


• SAP PP Configuration Skills: Ability to configure Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, MRP settings, production orders, and planning strategies


• Cross-Functional Integration Knowledge: Understanding integration between PP and MM, SD, FI/CO, QM, and WM/EWM is essential for resolving end-to-end business process issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 10+ years of Hands-on experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery.


• Experience working in SAP ECC SAP Production Planning and Materials Management modules.


• Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning Master Data, Demand Management, MRP, Production planning and execution, Engineering change management, Contract manufacturing.


• Strong understanding of integration of Production execution to MES.


• Strong Understanding of application of SAP Materials Management business processes in procurement processes along with Inventory Management processes.


• Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue.


• Experience in SAP development estimation and best practices in solution delivery.


• Ability to work independently or as a team & work with business Users to resolve day to day Support issues.


• Responsible for designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation.


• Work directly with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives.


• Define functional requirements and capture them in configuration rationale and functional specification documents. Validate any proposed development estimates.


• Own the solution design and oversee development to ensure it meets business requirements.


• Define and execute test plans and review outcomes to validate solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change.


• Good knowledge about RICEFW, integrations to third part, data migration for carve out scenario


• Good knowledge about testing strategy including SIT and integration testing


• Maintain detailed documentation supporting business processes, configuration, functional specifications.

Key Skills

• Sr SAP Consultant in PP with multiple end-to- end implementations in ECC 6.0.


• Deep understanding in PP business processes and integration areas, worked in complex organizations and implementations.


• Thorough hands-on experience in system configuration, technical areas to work with technical consultants.


• Very good communication skills


• Excellent documentation and presentation skills


• SAP certification is a plus.


• Worked in Auto Industry is a plus.
