Job summary

Fujitsu seeks a Senior SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Production Planning and Materials Management. The role targets 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience within ECC environments, focusing on PP configuration, MES integration, and procurement processes.

The position is hybrid and based in India, with immediate joining and UK shift timing. You will collaborate with business users to resolve day-to-day issues, oversee solution design, and ensure end-to-end delivery from

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP functional solution design and delivery.
• Experience in SAP ECC PP and MM modules.
• Strong PP master data, demand management, MRP and production planning knowledge.
• Experience integrating production execution with MES.
• Knowledge of SAP MM in procurement and inventory management processes.
• Ability to propose creative solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience in SAP development estimation and delivery best practices.
• Ability to work with business users to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Design SAP solutions to meet business requirements and oversee implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP/MM functional design and end-to-end delivery.
• Configure PP during ECC implementations and optimizations.
• Capture functional requirements and prepare configuration rationales.
• Collaborate with business users to resolve daily support issues.
• Ensure PP–MM–SD–FI/CO–QM–WM/EWM integration aligns with processes.
• Define and execute test plans; review outcomes for change requests.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes and configurations.

• Production Planning & Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Must understand Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), demand management, production execution, capacity planning, and shop floor processes.
• SAP PP Configuration Skills: Ability to configure Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, MRP settings, production orders, and planning strategies

• Ability to work independently or as a team & work with business Users to resolve day to day Support issues.
• Responsible for designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives.
• Define functional requirements and capture them in configuration rationale and functional specification documents. Validate any proposed development estimates.
• Own the solution design and oversee development to ensure it meets business requirements.
• Define and execute test plans and review outcomes to validate solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change.
• Good knowledge about RICEFW, integrations to third part, data migration for carve out scenario
• Good knowledge about testing strategy including SIT and integration testing
• Maintain detailed documentation supporting business processes, configuration, functional specifications.
