Job summary

Talentship is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the technical direction of a production multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will work across backend, frontend, cloud, and CI/CD, designing solutions and mentoring the team while shipping features end to end.

The role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on leadership, and deep experience with TypeScript, Fastify, Next.js, Azure, and multi-tenant data models.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development with ownership of production systems.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js expertise; hands-on with Fastify and Next.js/React.
• Solid experience with Azure cloud services: App/Functions hosting, Storage, identity, and related SDKs.
• Hands-on Cosmos DB (MongoDB API) or MongoDB: data modeling, indexing, and multi-tenant design.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and shipping across environments.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, REST APIs, shared type contracts, and typed monorepo workflows.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and communicate clearly with stakeholders; strong problem-solving and testing discipline.
• Full-time availability and end-to-end ownership of features and platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation across a TypeScript monorepo (Fastify API, Next.js web UI) using Domain-Driven Design.
• Build and evolve scalable backend services with Fastify, Azure Functions, MongoDB/Cosmos DB, and Azure storage/queue services.
• Deliver rich frontend experiences with Next.js, React, TypeScript, TanStack Query, and modern UI patterns.
• Own and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, deployments, environments, and release quality for API, web, and async workers.
• Design multi-tenant data models, APIs, permissions, and integrations (including Azure AD B2C / MSAL auth).
• Propose and drive technical solutions for complex product problems, architecture trade-offs, performance, reliability, and observability.
• Partner with product and engineering experts: code reviews, design discussions, mentoring, and clear written/verbal communication.
• Ensure production readiness: testing, monitoring (OpenTelemetry), Dockerized services, and operational support.

About the Role

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of full-stack software development, with clear senior/lead ownership of systems in production.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js expertise; hands‑on experience with Fastify (or similar Node frameworks) and Next.js/React.
• Solid experience with Azure cloud services: App/Functions hosting, Storage (Blob/Queue), identity (Azure AD B2C / Entra), and related SDKs.
• Hands‑on Cosmos DB (MongoDB API) or MongoDB — modeling, indexing, query performance, and multi‑tenant data design.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and shipping services safely across environments.
• Comfort with Domain-Driven Design, REST APIs, shared type contracts, and typed monorepo workflows (e.g. Turborepo/npm workspaces).
• Ability to lead technical decisions, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and work effectively with a team of specialists.
• Strong problem-solving, code quality, testing discipline, and production support mindset.
• Full‑time availability and willingness to take end‑to‑end ownership of features and platform improvements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Web PubSub, Communication Email and similar Azure integrations.
• Familiarity with async/background job architectures (Azure Functions + queues).
• Exposure to media/workflow‑heavy products (video/PDF processing, real‑time UI, 3D/canvas tooling).
• Observability experience (OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging).
• Docker, infrastructure‑as‑code, or multi‑environment Azure operations.
• Prior to mentoring, tech lead, or architecture ownership in a SaaS/multi‑tenant product.
