Job summary

Angel-and-Genie is looking for a Full Stack Engineer in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience, with strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, and hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.

Responsibilities include developing scalable web applications, building backend services, and optimizing database designs. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and be proficient in both frontend and backend technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Solid understanding of MongoDB and Mongoose.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns.
• Good grasp of system design principles and application architecture.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications.
• Build and maintain server-side logic and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
• Contribute to frontend feature development and integration.
• Participate in feature planning, estimation, and execution.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
