Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for international clients.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle AP/AR, payroll coordination, and fixed asset accounting.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Review general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support statutory and financial audits with schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS or international standards.
• Review junior accountants' work and provide guidance as needed.
• Coordinate with overseas clients to resolve queries and deliver reports.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Foreign Outsourcing Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing accounting processes for international clients, with strong knowledge of US, UK, or Australian accounting practices. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with overseas clients while handling end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for international clients.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll coordination, and fixed asset accounting.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Review general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support statutory and financial audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or relevant international accounting standards.
• Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance when required.
• Coordinate with overseas clients to resolve accounting queries and deliver timely financial reports.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA (Finance).
• 3+ years of experience in foreign accounting or accounting outsourcing.
• Experience handling clients from the US, UK, Australia, or other international markets.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with outsourced accounting firms or global shared service centers.
• Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance for international clients.
• Exposure to cloud-based accounting platforms and workflow management tools.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
