Job summary

Clarivate Plc in Noida is seeking a Lead/Senior Accountant to join the People Cost Accounting team. You will work on Global Payroll accounting and general ledger accounting, supporting pension accruals, bonus accruals, severance accounting, and related journals.

The role requires strong experience in global accounting, ERP systems like NetSuite/Oracle, and reconciliation tools such as Blackline.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or professional certifications are required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Accounting.
• Experience in Payroll and General ledger accounting with reconciliation expertise.
• Exposure to ERP systems like NetSuite/Oracle, plus Blackline reconciliation and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle Global Accounting and Reconciliations for the central accounting team.
• Manage People Cost Accounting including Payroll, Pension and Bonus accruals.
• Prepare and review payroll accrual journals, benefit accruals and tax entries.
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations and support Sox-compliant audits.
• Assist with Sox guidelines and ensure audit deficiencies are resolved.

We are looking for a Lead/Senior Accountant to join our People Cost Accounting team in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Global Payroll accounting, general ledger accounting. We have a great skill set in handling payroll accounting spanning across all regions in the world and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Global accounting, Pension, Payroll process, USGAAP, IFRS, Flux analysis, Blackline, and NetSuite.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• BCom. graduation/MBA Finance/ CA/CMA/ CA-Inter/CMA-inter (accounting background must).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Accounting.
• Proven experience in Payroll accounting, General ledger accounting, reconciliation.
• Should have exposure to accounting ERP’s (NetSuite, Oracle etc.), Blackline reconciliation and Analysis tools (onstream, Hyperion etc.)

It would be great if you also had . .

• Experience in any General accounting Functions roles including P2P, O2C, IC, PC, PA etc.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Global Accounting functions for General Accounting and Reconciliations across the central accounting team.
• People cost Accounting (Payroll), Pension accruals, Bonus Accruals, Severance accounting.
• Preparation and review of payroll accrual journals, Benefit accruals, Tax entries, and Wire payment journals.
• Perform and review Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Blackline & OneStream exposure is an added advantage
• Follow Sox Guidelines in internal or external audits & Zero Audit deficiencies.

About The Team

It is a Strong centralized accounting team with proficient knowledge in global accounting and with good exposure through centralized accounting system based in United States & Noida.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent position with Clarivate. Shift time :11 AM to 8 PM IST.
