FinOps Weekly in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, Cost Management, to oversee vendor spend, PO administration, and reporting. You will work with the Director and peers to improve cost visibility and support budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full purchase order lifecycle for technology vendors.
  • Validate invoices against contracts and work orders, resolve discrepancies.
  • Track monthly volumes, invoices, actual spend, and forecast performance with clear visuals.
  • Review AP transactions and cost reports to identify missing costs and anomalies.
  • Maintain vendor trackers, scheduled reporting, and ad hoc requests.
  • Prepare summarised service reports and data visualisations for leadership.

Working with the Director, Cost Management and other peers, the position focuses on purchase order administration, invoice validation, spend tracking, and reporting across contracted services.ManagementThe role exists to improve cost visibility, financial planning, and reporting accuracy for technology spend. It also supports commercial reviews, contract amendments, and cross-functional work by turning vendor and transaction data into clear, actionable information for management.## Key Responsibilities– Manage the full purchase order lifecycle for technology vendors, including raising, amending, and receipting purchase orders. – Validate invoices against contracts and work orders, and resolve discrepancies to reduce billing errors. – Track monthly volumes, invoices, actual spend, and forecast performance, and present metrics in a clear visual format. – Review AP transactions and cost reports to identify missing costs, ineligible transactions, and anomalies. – Maintain vendor trackers, scheduled reporting, and ad hoc reporting requests. – Prepare summarised service reports, presentations, and data visualisations for leadership and management. – Support commercial reviews, contract amendments, cross-functional projects, and team activity as needed. – Train and guide new team members during onboarding.## FinOps Responsibilities– Deliver MSP budgets and spend forecasts. – Improve cost visibility and financial planning. – Track actuals against forecasts to support run-rate reporting and financial performance analysis. – Identify cost avoidance and cost-saving opportunities. – Review spend and AP/cost data to improve financial completeness. – Standardise and automate processes to improve efficiency and reporting insight.## Required Skills– Strong expertise in reporting and in producing actionable insights for decision-making. – Ability to formulate and interpret Financial and MIS reports and other statements. – Experience creating ad hoc analysis, presentations, and data visualisations. – Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support cross-functional activity. – Ability to train and guide new team members.## Benefits– Healthcare – Retirement planning – Paid volunteering days – Wellbeing initiatives## Why You Might Be InterestedThis role offers direct involvement in vendor management, financial tracking, and reporting within a Senior Associate position.
