Job summary

IndiGo is seeking a procurement professional to manage records, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors. The role requires SAP Ariba experience, Excel/Outlook proficiency, and 2+ years in purchasing within FMCG/manufacturing/aviation sectors.

You will collaborate with the procurement manager and finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate/post graduate/MBA.
• Two-years minimum working experience in Purchase department, preferably in FMCG/ Manufacturing/Aviation Industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
• Should be able to work on SAP & SAP Ariba and well versed with Excel & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage records of purchases, prices, and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with team members and the procurement manager to complete tasks as needed
• Negotiate the best deals for pricing and supply contracts.
• Releasing RFP to vendors in SAP Ariba.
• Cultivate and go along with the relationship with vendors/suppliers positively.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers, including their qualifications, delivery times, and potential for future development
• Ensuring proper documentation of the contracts, recommendation notes etc.
• Cross functional collaboration with finance and business.
• Follow up with vendor for supplies, quality issues etc.
• Responsible for generating MIS reports from SAP on supply efficiency.
