Job summary

IndiGo in Gurgaon, India is seeking a procurement professional with 2-4 years of experience to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor onboarding, and contract support. You will prepare RFQs, raise POs, and coordinate pricing, delivery, and documentation with suppliers.

The role requires exposure to automotive/aviation/engineering sectors, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a collaborative approach with Operations, Stores, and Finance teams. SAP Ariba/HANA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Exposure to Automotive, Aviation, or Engineering industries preferred.
• Experience in procurement of spares, components, or technical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day procurement activities per approved processes.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and support vendor finalization.
• Raise POs and ensure timely release.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Follow up to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Support onboarding of new vendors as guided.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for material requirements and dispatch planning.
• Support stock monitoring and availability of critical spares.
• Track pending orders and share status updates.
• Assist in preparation and execution of annual rate contracts.
• Maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies.
• Support cost tracking and MIS reports on procurement activities and order status.
• Work closely with Operations, Stores, and Finance teams.
• Support ongoing and new projects as assigned.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP Ariba / HANA preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under supervision.

Job description

- B. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

- Basic knowledge or certification in Supply Chain / Procurement will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations
