Responsibilities include handling HMP, RMC/WMM plants, paver, grader, roller, loader, and tipper, monitoring preventive maintenance, and preparing MIS, DPR, and fuel and spare reports while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and operational availability of plant and machinery used in road construction projects.
• Handle equipment such as HMP, RMC Plant, WMM Plant, Paver, Grader, Tandem Roller, Loader, Tipper, TM, and other road construction machinery.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, breakdowns, and equipment downtime.
• Prepare and maintain MIS, DPR, equipment utilization, availability, breakdown, scheduled maintenance, diesel consumption, spare consumption, and RTO-related reports.
• Maintain machinery records, maintenance schedules, and relevant documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, operators, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth equipment operations.
• Monitor diesel consumption, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable machinery, vehicle, and safety requirements.

Required Skills

• Good technical knowledge of road construction machinery and equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and breakdown management.
• Knowledge of MIS, DPR, and other P&M documentation.
• Proficiency in equipment utilization tracking, diesel management, and preventive maintenance.
• Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 25 years of experience in the P&M department of a construction company, preferably in road projects, with a Mechanical Engineering qualification and practical knowledge of machinery maintenance and reporting.
