Job summary

Mahindra Logistics Ltd is seeking a Senior Executive Operations to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment in India. You will drive inbound and outbound operations, manage manpower and shift planning, and ensure optimal inventory control with strong emphasis on process improvements.

You will leverage WMS to streamline order processing, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and reporting, while tracking KPIs and coordinating with Planning, Inventory, Transport,

Qualifications

• 36 years of experience in warehouse/operations management.
• Strong hands-on experience with WMS and warehouse processes.
• Good understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory control, dispatch, and manpower planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent people management, communication, coordination, and execution abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/MIS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily Inbound & Outbound operations and ensure achievement of dispatch targets.
• Review processes, identify operational gaps and inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
• Manage manpower, productivity, shift planning, and task allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and accuracy to ensure availability while minimizing excess/obsolete inventory.
• Analyze operational and warehouse data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure effective utilization of WMS for inventory, order processing, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and reporting.
• Track key operational KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with Planning, Inventory, Transport, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, quality requirements, and process controls.
• Act as a strong task master, ensuring timely execution and closure of daily activities.
• Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse teams while maintaining communication and discipline.
