Job summary

DP World in Goa is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound activities, ensure timely order processing, and drive productivity. The role emphasizes inventory control, safety, and KPI achievement within a dynamic logistics setting.

You will coordinate with staff, manage cycle counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping in WMS/ERP systems, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure timely order processing and shipment execution as per customer requirements.
• Monitor operational workflows to achieve productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure proper material handling practices.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and escalate issues when required.
• Update inventory records in WMS/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse associates, operators, and supervisors for smooth operations.
• Support manpower planning and shift execution.
• Train warehouse staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and operational processes.
• Ensure adherence to customer SLAs and operational KPIs.
• Handle operational escalations and support issue resolution.
• Maintain timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow warehouse SOPs, quality standards, and EHS guidelines.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
• Support warehouse audits and compliance activities.
• Prepare daily operational reports and MIS updates.
• Maintain dispatch records, inventory reports, and operational documentation.
• Track operational performance metrics and highlight improvement areas.
