Job summary

Medi Assist is seeking a Sr Executive - MIS Operations to transform raw data into actionable dashboards and regular performance reports. You will bridge data and operations by delivering automated dashboards, KPI tracking, and data-driven insights for decision making.

The role focuses on generating MIS reports, maintaining data integrity across platforms, and collaborating with operations leads to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of MIS/data handling experience, preferably in Health Insurance, Contact Center, BPO, or shared services.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and data cleaning.
• Familiarity with basic SQL queries or Google Sheets integration is a plus.
• Graduate degree in data-related field (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc) or related.

Responsibilities

• Generate, scrub, and consolidate data from multiple platforms for daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
• Update and maintain internal databases, trackers, and rosters to ensure data integrity.
• Automate repetitive data entry and reporting using Excel macros or Power Query.
• Extract, clean, and consolidate data from ERP, CRM, WMS into centralized reports.
• Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards tracking KPIs like throughput and SLA.
• Analyze trends, identify bottlenecks, and evaluate productivity against targets.
• Collaborate with operations to identify process inefficiencies and revenue/cost leakage.
• Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and present insights to senior leadership.

Job Description: Sr Executive - Management Information Systems (MIS)-Operations

The Operations MIS Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational metrics to support strategic decision-making and continuous process improvement. This role bridges raw data and operational execution by turning complex operational datasets into actionable dashboards, regular performance reports, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Report Generation: Extract, scrub, and consolidate data from multiple operational platforms to prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Database Maintenance: Update and maintain internal databases, performance trackers, and rosters to ensure 100% data integrity and consistency.
• Process Automation: Streamline repetitive data entry and reporting processes using basic automation tools like Excel Macros or Power Query.
• Data Management & Maintenance: Extract, clean, and consolidate operational data from multiple systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, databases) into centralized operational reports.
• Dashboard & Report Generation: Design, build, and maintain automated daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards, tracking KPIs like throughput, downtime, SLA compliance, and yield.
• Performance & Variance Analysis: Analyze operational trends, highlight operational bottlenecks, track cost variances, and evaluate productivity against defined targets.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations leads to identify process inefficiencies, root causes for delays, and revenue/cost-leakage points.
• Data Governance & Integrity: Conduct regular data audits to ensure accurate reporting, consistency across departments, and prompt resolution of data discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reports and present data insights to senior leadership to guide resource allocation and operational strategy.

Operational Coordination

• Operational Insights: Present data trends and performance metrics to operations managers and executives, acting as a strategic advisor on efficiency improvements.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with Data Science, Operations, and IT teams to align reporting assumptions with broader organizational timelines.
• Escalation Support: Promptly elevate network outages, system downtimes, or technical issues to the IT department to minimize operational downtime.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1 - 3 years of operational experience in MIS, data handling, preferably within a Health Insurance, Contact Center, BPO, or shared services environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Countifs, Conditional Formatting etc..).
  • Familiarity with basic SQL queries or Google Sheets integration is a distinct advantage.
• Interpersonal Skills: Assertive communication skills to effectively drive schedule compliance with operations floor supervisors.
• Education: Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or a related field requiring data management)
