Job summary

Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) in Bawal seeks a Senior Executive Mechanical to contribute to the design and development of Glass processing SPMs and to troubleshoot Auto & Arch glass machinery. The role focuses on process upgradation and optimization of resources under guidance of the Section Head.

Candidate should have 3–6 years of mechanical engineering experience, with BE/B.Tech/PG in Mechanical and >70% marks in 10th, 12th and engineering, and exposure to GD&T, 3D CAD tools, and

Responsibilities

• Machine / Process Development under guidance of Section Head.
• Explore machine feasibility against required specification with design calculations and drawings.
• Ensure product design/drawings conform to technical specs and standards.
• Generate BOM, drawings, and schedules for machine cost optimization.
• Optimize designs and manufacturing processes with lean techniques.
• Regulate old stocks/high-value inventories for automated solutions.
• Design and prepare plant/equipment layouts within budget/time parameters.
• Implement machine feedbacks, and design/drawing standards (JIS/BS/ISO).
• Coordinate with customers to identify/process gaps and implement solutions.

Job Purpose: Contributes to design & development of Glass processing SPMs, trouble shooting for Auto & Arch glass machinery, process upgradation and optimization of available resources under guidance of Section Head.

• Machine / Process Development


• Explore machine feasibility against required specification with Design calculation, process standards and Prepare assembly and part design / drawing.


• Ensure product design / drawings are released in conformity with technical specification and design standards.


• Generate BOM, Drawing, Schedules of the Machine to Optimise of Finance, Manpower and Store Resources.


• Opmize the designs, manufacturing process / impart value addi on by lean manufacturing techniques


• Optimize & regulate the old stocks / high value inventories & utiliz it in some dedicated automated solutions


• Design & prepare plant/equipment layouts within budgeted timeline and cost parameters


• Implement past machine feedbacks, MPI's in new design Implement design & drawing standards (JIS/BS/ISO) for seamless manufacturing and assembly of machine


• Coordinate with the customers and identify / prepare process/equipment gaps & implement solutions
