Job summary

Placenest Services Private Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional for our glass manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical systems, planning preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.

The role requires a B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing sectors such as glass or ceramics.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance (glass/ceramics/manufacturing).
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain & troubleshoot furnaces, compressors, conveyors, and cutting machines.
• Support production machinery and optimize performance.
• Plan & execute preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Drive efficiency through Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct risk assessments.
• Manage vendors, spares, and service contracts.
• Maintain logs, reports, and ERP/CMMS entries.
