Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Executive - E&M Utilities HVAC to oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, cold rooms, and related utilities. The role focuses on ensuring reliable performance, energy efficiency, and adherence to safety and GMP standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, manage maintenance records in SAP, and support QA during audits and regulatory assessments. The position requires hands-on experience in E&M utilities within a pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Familiar with GMP, safety regulations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of cold rooms, DX units, air conditioners, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HVAC validation requirements and company SOPs.
• Monitor spares inventory and procurement as required.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for major maintenance and AMCs.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history in SAP system.
• Coordinate installation, testing, and qualification of HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Support QA during audits and regulatory assessments.

Job Description

Senior Executive – E&M Utilities HVAC

• Responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting of cold rooms, DX units, air conditioners (ACs), and HVAC systems to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, HVAC validation requirements (where applicable), and company SOPs.
• Monitor the inventory of critical spares and consumables and initiate procurement as required.
• Monitor system performance and optimize operating parameters to improve energy efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for major maintenance activities and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and documentation in the SAP system.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and qualification of new HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of CAPA related to HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with the QA team during audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments, and provide required documentation.
• Follow permit system as per the work carried out.
• Responsible for the closure of work orders.
• Housekeeping to be maintained in the utility block premises
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) as per related works.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.
• Ensure Safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Responsible for following Environmental Guidelines, EHS Guidelines.
• Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence.
