Job summary

Firstsource in Coimbatore is seeking a Sr. Executive – Human Resources to drive the HR function across our multi-location ITES/BPO operations.

You will shape organizational and people strategies, advise on recruitment, policies, rewards, benefits and compliance to maximise employee satisfaction and retention. You will partner with BU heads, lead talent management, performance reviews, coaching and development initiatives, and ensure HR programs align with business goals while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Post graduation/master’s degree in human resource from a reputed B School.
• 2+ yrs of HR experience in ITES/ BPO function preferred.
• Proven experience in managing Human Resource for a mid to large scale multi-location operations.

Responsibilities

• Create strategy and action plan for HR department.
• Partner with BU head/stakeholders to develop and implement HR initiatives.
• Provide expertise in talent management, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning & development, rewards and recognition, data analysis and strategic development.
• Coach and guide leadership to drive culture and growth.
• Oversee HR activities across units and identify practical solutions to complex issues.
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop attrition management programs.
• Ensure high employee satisfaction scores in surveys.
• Plan regular HR trainings on policies, knowledge orientation and self-development.
• Ensure HR communications are cascaded and address employee concerns.
• Responsible for performance management and talent development.
• Ensure HR compliance during audits, payroll, increments.
• Develop and monitor HR departmental budget spending.
• Work with Legal and Compliance to align processes with regulations.
• Implement corporate/global HR initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager- Human Resources, the Sr. Executive – Human Resources is responsible for the overall functioning of the HR department. This role offers thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution and provides advice on Recruitment, HR procedures, policies, best practices, Rewards, Benefits and statutory compliance to achieve highest level of Employee satisfaction and retention

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic

• Create strategy and action plan for HR department which helps meet organizational goals and objectives
• Partner with BU head/ stakeholders to develop and implement HR initiatives that will improve overall engagement, productivity and retention for the unit
• Provide expertise in the following areas:, Talent Management, Performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, rewards and Recognition programs, data analysis and strategic development
• Coach and guide leadership to drive culture to ensure we continue our fast-paced growth and success
• Creates professional relationships with both internal and external clients and customers

Operational

• Oversee all the activities related to HR Department and work closely with the BU heads and HR team members to identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to manage attrition
• Ensure high satisfaction scores indicative in the monthly Employee Satisfaction Survey
• Initiate and plan regular HR Training for all employees with a view to educating employees on Policies, knowledge orientation and self development sessions etc.
• Ensure that all HR related communication is appropriately cascaded, provide forums for employees to raise issues /concerns and ensure that the same are effectively redressed and Provide engagement solutions to address concerns
• Responsible for Performance Management and Talent Development of the Business Unit
• Ensure compliance during client and internal audits, Ensure compliance on all HR activities such payroll, increments, etc
• Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget
• Work with Legal and Compliance Departments to ensure HR processes and policies are within the legal framework as required
• Implementation of Corporate HR Initiatives / Global initiatives
