Job summary

KatalAiser is seeking a Senior HR Executive for an on-site role in Mumbai. The position focuses on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations with strong emphasis on compliance and service excellence.

Responsibilities include sourcing and closing candidates, onboarding, maintaining HRIS data, payroll coordination, and ensuring statutory compliance across labour laws, PF/ESI, and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Must-have experience in end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding and payroll coordination.
• Ability to handle employee relations, policy guidance and performance workflows.
• Ensure statutory compliance and accurate HR data management.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, interview, and close candidates in partnership with hiring managers.
• Drive onboarding, documentation, probation tracking and induction processes.
• Maintain HRIS data including attendance and leave management.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with payroll vendors for timely salary processing.
• Handle employee relations and investigations, and ensure policy interpretation guidance.
• Ensure labour law compliance and generate HR reports for leadership.

Job description

Position: Senior HR Executive (On-site, India) — a hands-on role for an operational HR generalist who will drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations with a focus on compliance and service excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities: source, screen, interview coordination, and candidate closure in partnership with hiring managers.
• Drive onboarding and induction processes to ensure smooth new-joiner experience, documentation, and probation tracking.
• Maintain and update HRIS records; ensure accuracy of employee data, attendance, and leave management systems.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and act as liaison with payroll vendors to ensure timely, accurate salary processing and statutory contributions.
• Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, provide guidance on policy interpretation, and support performance-management workflows.
• Ensure local statutory compliance (labour laws, PF/ESI/Tax filings) and generate regular HR reports and metrics for leadership.
