Job summary

Marathon Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for high-rise residential construction with hands-on RCC and Mivan shuttering expertise. The role requires managing site activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to quality standards on a Panvel-area project.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of RCC and finishing works, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in residential construction.
• Strong experience in high-rise residential RCC construction.
• Mivan shuttering experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of RCC, structural and finishing works.
• Experience in independently handling construction activities/projects.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site execution.
• Strong contractor and manpower management skills.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle day-to-day construction activities at the assigned residential project.
• Execute and supervise high-rise RCC structural works, ensuring construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Must have strong hands-on experience in Mivan shuttering/formwork and its execution.
• Plan and monitor RCC activities, including reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and related structural works.
• Supervise finishing works such as blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, doors/windows, and other finishing activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and other project teams for smooth execution.
• Check drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site requirements and ensure proper implementation at site.
• Monitor manpower, material availability, productivity, and daily progress.
• Ensure construction activities are completed within the planned quality, cost, and timeline parameters.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely resolution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports and update project-related information in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, billing, quality, and safety teams.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is executed as per agreed scope and schedule.
• Ensure proper documentation of work progress, measurements, inspections, and approvals.
• Independently take ownership of assigned work areas and drive the project towards timely completion.
