Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced automotive design engineer to package and integrate vehicle systems. You will validate virtual layouts, finalize architecture (P&L), and manage variant configurations to meet project targets. Experience with Teamcenter PLM tools and CAD vehicle layouts is essential.

The role requires 10–12 years in Automotive / Auto allied industries and BE/B.Tech. You will work on cost, weight, and functional targets while ensuring compliance with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of experience in automotive design/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Package and integrate vehicle systems into a vehicle.
• Monitor virtual vehicle layout and finalize PandH and Vehicle Architecture.
• Manage variants and meet project-specific communication and standardization targets.
• Conceptualize and detailed design VI systems meeting cost, weight and functional targets.
• Exposure to Teamcenter Enterprise, TC-engineering and TC-project PLM tools.
• Ensure CAD Vehicle Layout to support modification insertion of new parts in the vehicle.
• Manage Vehicle level Engineering Bill of Materials to support builds during development.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements per QFD throughout design.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Packaging and integrating vehicle systems into a vehicle
• 2. Monitor Virtual vehicle layout and finalize PandH (Proportions and Hard points) and Vehicle Architecture
• 3. Manage Variants andmeet project specific communisation and standardization targets
• 4. Conceptualize and detailed design VI systems meeting cost weight and functional targets
• 5. Exposure to Team centre  Enterprise, TC-engineering and TC-project (Product Lifecycle Management tools)
• 6. Ensure CAD Vehicle Layout to facilitate design engg for modification insertion / introduction of the new parts in the vehicle by collecting all the CAD models together and locating at vehicle location
• 7. Manage Vehicle level Engineering Bill of Material to support Vehicle Build during Product Development
• 8. Ensure compliance of customer requirements arising out of QFD to deliver the vehicle as per the customer requirements by continuously monitoring design of various systems
