Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Manager-Vehicle Integration to lead the packaging and integration of vehicle systems, drive advanced DMU reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

The role requires 8–12 years of automotive experience, a mechanical/automobile engineering background, hands-on Catia and Teamcenter skills, and a strong focus on homologation, DFMEA, and APQP to deliver robust vehicle architectures.

Qualifications

• Vehicle system level functioning/design of Passenger & Commercial Vehicle Systems
• EBOM/ MBOM/ SAP BOM/ ADD DELETE expert
• Change scope definition preparation, Concept BOM generation
• Knowledge of Frame design and key design principles of other critical vehicle aggregates
• Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
• SAM process
• DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting
• Catia, Teamcenter PLM & Teamcenter Visualization exposure
• Homologation requirements for Commercial/SUV Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
• Coordination with overall product development team across aggregates, design and validation
• Product life cycle: APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
• Vehicle architecture experience
• Vehicle Performance Simulation understanding
• Validation Testing & Monitoring overview
• GNOVAC experience, Build & Validation Concern Analysis
• ADAS, ESP knowledge
• NCAP Euro/ ANC AP/ GNCAP/ BNCAP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity
• Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems
• Vehicle architecture & parameter calculations (Wheelbase, CG, performance)
• Lead DMU packaging reviews, concerns resolution, DMU reports & sign off
• Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Ensure EN/PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track other releases
• Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Target setting and cascading to system level targets

Job description

Manager-Vehicle Integration Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
2. Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.
3. Vehicle architecture & vehicle parameter calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
4. Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
5. Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
6. Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
7. Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
8. Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
9. Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
10. Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.

15. Overview about Validation Testing & Monitoring
16. Experience on GNOVAC, Build & Validation Concern Analysis, Tracking & monitoring.
17. Knowledge over ADAS, ESP
18. Knowledge of NCAPS- Euro/ ANCAP/ GNCAP/ BNCAP
19. Detailed experience of Vehicle Architecture
20. Well verse with Future technology & Trends
21. Skilled with AI tools- To improve efficiency of VI role
22. Overview of Table top business case
23. Should understand time cost, performance factors involved in part development. Able to prepare decision matrix for engineering proposals.
