Job summary

Jubilant Ingrevia Limited is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Utility (Power/Boiler) in Nira. You will support smooth boiler/steam operation across shifts and drive preventive and predictive maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Role requires 3–5 years in power plant maintenance, hands-on boiler/turbine knowledge, and ERP exposure for analysis and reporting. Reports to Manager - Utilities with 1–2 subordinates in a manufacturing engineering setting.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech with 3-5 years in maintenance of power plants.
• Hands on maintenance of boilers, steam turbine, generators and utilities.
• Exposure to ERP for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute Condition Based Monitoring of motors, fans and pumps and initiate preventive/corrective actions.
• Assess health of boiler pressure parts and steam turbines to prevent failures.
• Ensure adherence to IBR regulations and statutory compliance during shift operations.
• Implement TPM/WCM initiatives and preventive/predictive maintenance schedules.
• Aim to reduce steam distribution losses as per plan.

Key Responsibilities

(Performance Indicators)

• Executing Condition Based Monitoring of motors, fan and pumps and initiating preventive & corrective measures based on analysis.
• Provide assistance in assessment for health of Boiler Pressure parts and Steam Turbines to prevent failures.
• Responsible for adherence to IBR regulations, legal and statutory compliance during the shift operations.
• Responsible for Implementation of various initiatives of TPM / WCM.
• To adhere with preventive and predictive maintenance schedule to avoid B/D.
• Responsible for executing the scheme to cut down steam distribution losses as per plan.

Qualification & Experience

Key Competencies ( Technical, Functional & Behavioral)
