Job summary

Ahluwalia Contracts is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Controller to handle detailed estimation, rate analysis, and BOQ extraction from drawings on major projects. The role focuses on cost budgeting, claims, EOT analyses and material reconciliation to ensure accurate project cost control.

Key duties include preparation of PMS, deviation statements and monthly RA bill generation, leveraging knowledge of IS Codes, CPWD, FIDIC, MORTH and ASTM standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IS Codes & Mode of Measurement as per IS Codes / CPWD/ FIDIC / MORTH/ ASTM etc.
• Prepare Detailed Bill of Quantities/Pre-tender estimates/Cost Budgeting.
• Preparation of Rate Analysis, Extra items, Deviation statements, Substituted items, Escalations, Claims, EOT, Delay analysis, Bill Estimation, Costing.
• Study of BOQ as per specifications and taking out quantities from drawings.
• Quantity Calculation, Cost Estimation / Rate Analysis from BOQ.
• Cross Billing analysis, Covered area, item rate and the making of monthly RA Bills accordingly.
• Material Reconciliation to check the theoretical consumption of material.
• Preparation of Project Measurement System (PMS).
• Preparing Deviation Statements/Project Cash flows.
• Preparation of Rate Analysis, Extra items, Deviation statements, Substituted items, Escalations, Claims, EOT, Delay analysis, Bill Estimation, Costing.
