Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited invites applications for a Senior Engineer-PTD Mechanical Development in Chennai. The role focuses on fixing TCM hardware and software specifications, shift schedule calibration, and integration of IVN and diagnostics.

You will interact with suppliers, validate prototypes, and drive calibration changes. The candidate should have a BE or ME in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 6–10 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with automatic transmission

Qualifications

• Fixing the specifications of TCM H/W and TCM S/W.
• Perform shift schedule calibration for various control functions of the vehicle.
• Understand customer needs/targets and convert into Engineering inputs.
• Sound domain knowledge in the shift schedule calibration, integration of IVN and diagnostics specifications.
• Conduct technical review with suppliers.
• Conversant with Automatic Transmission calibration methodology.
• Prototype development and support for validation.
• Concern resolution and calibration modifications.
• Comprehend technical concerns during development and post SOP and develop alternative solutions.
