Job summary

RPG Group in Vadodara, Gujarat is seeking an experienced production professional to lead the Tinned Copper Conductor and Extrusion sections. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, efficient machine feed, and accurate stock reconciliation, while monitoring quality, process parameters, and scrap disposal across shifts.

• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Experience with 5S and Kaizen implementations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Attend SQEC meetings and walk-throughs.
• Lead production shift in Tinned Copper Conductor and Extrusion sections.
• Circulate production reports to concerned stakeholders.
• Manage production and in-process quality for Tinned Copper Conductor and cables.
• Plan monthly production and analyze achievement against plan.
• Drive process monitoring improvements for Tinned Copper Conductor and cables.
• Develop, manage and monitor multi-skilled workforce; design training programs for efficiency.
• Understand and troubleshoot process and engineering issues.
• Report near-misses and risks and implement solutions.

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• To ensure the availability of sufficient input near the machine.
• To Monitor & measurement of production as per machine capacity.
• To ensure all production records are updated in DPR & JD.
• Monitoring, recording & disposal of scrap in every shift.
• To attend SQEC meetings & walk through
• Responsible for production shift lead in Tinned Copper Conductor and Extrusion section.
• To circulate production report to all concerned.
• Handling production and in-process Tinned Copper Conductor and Cable quality and parameters
• Monthly production Planning & its achievement analysis against plan
• Active role in improvement of Process monitoring activities, in processing of Tinned Copper Conductor and Cables
  Developing, managing and monitoring the performance of multi-skilled workforce and conceptualizing need-based training programs for maximizing operational efficiency
• Understand and trouble shoot process and engineering issues.
• Report every near miss & potential risk and act for solution

Technical skills :-

• Knowledge of SAP or any ERP, Advance Excel, Presentation Skills
• Implementing the concept of 5S and KAIZEN in the workplace
• Knowledge of the process of machines like RBD, Tinning, Multi-Wire Drawing, Bunching, Stranding, Extrusion, Coiling, Rewinding, Laying,Taping, Braiding would be preferrable.

Functional Skills

• To ensure the availability of Raw Material on all machines.
• To ensure adequate feed to all process machinery during shift operation.
• To take physical stock of Raw Material to compare with logical stock.
• To maintain weekly material balance report.
