You will maximize machine utilization, minimize lead times, and ensure timely delivery of machined components by coordinating with design, QA, and procurement teams. The role emphasizes hands-on planning, strong analytical skills, and coordination with CNC and conventional milling processes.

Responsabilités

• Production Scheduling: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for CNC and conventional machines.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze resource availability, machine capacity, and labor hours to balance shop-floor workloads.
• Process Planning: Review drawings to determine routing, machining sequences, and tool requirements.
• Material Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and inventory to ensure raw materials and tools are available before production.
• Cost & Time Estimation: Estimate cycle times, setup times, and manufacturing costs for new components or RFQs.
• Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks on the shop floor and implement lean manufacturing to improve efficiency.
• ERP/MRP Management: Input, update, and manage routing data, BOMs, and production orders in the ERP system.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Production Supervisors, QA, and Design Engineers to resolve issues and scheduling conflicts.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr Engineer - Production (Machine Shop Planning Engineer)to oversee and optimize our production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing workflows.Your primary goal will be to maximize machine utilization, minimize lead times, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality machined components.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all CNC and conventional machines.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze resource availability, machine capacity, and labor hours to balance shop-floor workloads.
• Process Planning: Review engineering drawings (2D/3D CAD models) to determine the optimal routing, machining sequences, and tool requirements.
• Material Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials, castings, and cutting tools are available before production begins.
• Cost & Time Estimation: Estimate cycle times, setup times, and manufacturing costs for new components or client RFQs (Request for Quotes).
• Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks on the shop floor and implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency.
• ERP/MRP Management: Input, update, and manage routing data, Bills of Materials (BOM), and production orders in the ERP system.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Supervisors, Quality Assurance, and Design Engineers to resolve technical issues and scheduling conflicts.
