Job summary

Zen Technologies Limited seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to lead production planning and optimize resource utilization. The role focuses on ensuring delivery commitments and driving continuous improvement in planning processes.

You will oversee master production scheduling, capacity planning, and ERP/MRP-driven production tracking, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with stores for material planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Master Production Schedules (MPS).
• Perform capacity planning, machine loading, and manpower allocation.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with sales forecasts and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor and control WIP levels, inventory planning, and material availability.
• Analyze and optimize lead times, routing, and BOM accuracy.
• Drive resolution of production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct Plan vs Actual variance analysis and improve schedule adherence.
• Ensure effective usage of ERP/MRP systems for production tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with Stores for Raw Material planning and issue control.
• Generate advanced MIS and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and streamline PPC processes.
